Social Value Lab and Post Creative are working together to find better ways to support local not-for-profit organisations develop an online and social media presence.

We know that the speed of technological advances has proved challenging for many organisations, sometimes leaving them on the back foot. We also know that the web and social media are becoming increasingly important in engaging service users, customers, supporters, volunteers and donors.

Our research will lead to the establishment of a new social enterprise – the first of its kind in Scotland – that will provide free or affordable digital upskilling and related services.

Please accept this as a personal invitation to help us shape this high-profile new initiative. Come along to a group discussion to find out more about the concept from Post Creative and discuss your experience and needs in relation to all things digital.

A series of discussions are being held at South Block (60 Osborne Street in Glasgow City Centre) at various times on:

  • 18 June (Wednesday)
  • 24 June (Tuesday)
  • 25 June (Wednesday)

Your attendance at one of these discussions would be greatly appreciated. If you can’t attend personally then please extend this information to a relevant member of your team.

As a thank you, each organisation that attends will be entitled to a free diagnostic check from Post Creative; a meeting to systematically explore your online and social media presence and offer tips for improvement. We will also enter each attendee in a Free Prize Draw, offering a 1-in-30 chance of winning a new iPad Mini.

Please indicate your ability to attend by contacting Martin McKee at martin@socialvaluelab.org.uk or on0141 530 1479. Further information about the initiative along with directions will be sent to attendees.
