Anne-Marie Allan

Anne-Marie is a Director at the Social Value Lab and Enterprise Support Manager at CEiS (Community Enterprise in Scotland). She brings over 20 years experience in social enterprise consultancy and holds particular expertise in areas such as community asset acquisition and social enterprise growth strategies.

Anne-Marie joined CEiS in July 1995 as a Consultant and became Enterprise Support Manager in 2001 and Director at Social Value Lab in 2010. She manages a large team that includes social enterprise advisors, community development workers, and researchers. This consultancy team works with up to 100 client social enterprises each year.

Anne-Marie holds a strong track record in growing the social enterprise sector. She has designed and managed a large number of social enterprise support programmes; these either delivered at neighbourhood, city, local authority, or national level. She has also designed programmes for particular target groups, including women social entrepreneurs. She is currently co-ordinating the delivery of the Just Enterprise Programme, the UK’s largest programme of specialist social enterprise business support.
