SROI Analysis

Social Return on Investment – SROI – is the generally accepted method of measuring social impact in the UK. It is an approach to understanding and managing the impacts of a project, organisation or policy. It places financial value on the impacts that are important to stakeholders.

Our accredited SROI practitioners are at the forefront of the development and implementation of SROI in the UK. We work with social investors, grant-makers, public service commissioners, and frontline organisations to demystify the framework and put it to practical use. We provide:

  • Introductory SROI workshops
  • SROI mentoring and training programmes
  • Development of SROI frameworks and systems
  • Coaching to support SROI implementation
  • Access to new technology to simplify SROI tracking
  • Preparation of SROI forecast and evaluation reports

The Social Value Lab has helped numerous organisations across the UK to show the difference they make using SROI techniques.

Recent projects include:

  • Introductory SROI training workshop to the Community Transport Association national conference
